Bret Michaels' back in hospital with warning stroke and hole in his heart

Shocking fans everywhere, Bret Michaels is in the hospital again, now doctors say the rocker has a hole in his heart.

Michaels, who was just on 'Oprah' on Wednesday, was re-hospitalized Thursday, after experiencing numbness on the left side of his body. After running tests, doctors discovered that Michaels suffered a Transient Ischemic Attack or warning stroke.

The tests also revealed a Patent Forum Ovale, otherwise known as a hole in the rocker's heart. The former Poison frontman is at St. Joseph's Hospital's Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. Michaels' family is devastated from the news of a new health problem, but his doctor, Joseph Zabramski admits that his condition is "operable and treatable."

Bret has been fighting health problems for several months now. The 'Rock of Love' star first had to have his appendix taken out early in April, two weeks later, Michaels was rushed to the hospital with an excruciating headache. After running tests, doctors diagnosed the singer with a subarachnoid hemorrhage (bleeding at the base of his brain stem).

Michaels' looked healthy and upbeat in his interview with 'Oprah' on Wednesday, even admitting he felt like he'd gotten a second chance. He was scheduled to appear on the May 23 season finale of NBC's 'Celebrity Apprentice' with Donald Trump and to hit the stage on May 28 at the Hard Rock Café in Biloxi Mississippi, but Michaels' body isn't quite ready to return to the limelight just yet.

Janna Elias, Michaels' rep said Michaels is in good spirits.
