Billy Walters: 60 Minutes Focuses On the Successes Of Vegas Gambler

Billy Walters, the famous Las Vegas gambler who has been the subject of numerous federal investigations due to his high winning percentage, was featured as the subject of a sixty Minutes biopic on Sunday night.

Walters has won millions off of casinos around Las Vegas over the years, and CBS' news show decided it was time to take a look at the man behind the success.

Walters first made headlines in the 1980's as part of the infamous "Computer Group", who fed data into computers to help make predictions of sports outcomes. They won millions off the Vegas bookmakers, who reported them to the federal government.

Walters was indicted four times for beating the house too much, and managed to prove he was on the up-and-up each time.

Now, at age 64, he has become such an influential figure that his bets can change and influence Vegas' lines on a particular game.
