Paris Hilton Arrested for Cocaine Possession
Paris Hilton always manages to stay in the news. Less than a week ago, an intruder, Nathan Lee Parada, armed with two knives tried to break into her home and was confronted by her boyfriend.
“So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes,” Hilton tweeted. She posted a photo of the suspect in handcuffs being taken away from her Mullholland Estates home.
And then on Friday night, Paris Hilton was making headlines again when she was arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly having cocaine in her purse. She was booked into jail, and then later released.
Apparently Hilton was riding in a black Cadillac Escalade near the Wynn hotel when a Las Vegas Police motorcycle officer smelled marijuana coming from her vehicle. The police pulled over the Escalade and a crowd began to gather on the Strip, so Hilton asked to go into the Wynn for privacy. That’s when she made a critical mistake.
“Miss Hilton pulled out a tube of lip balm,” police Sgt. John Sheahan said. “At the same time … a bindle of cocaine in a plastic bag came out of her purse.” — right in front of police in the room.
Hilton was arrested on suspicion of felony cocaine possession. Her boyfriend, Las Vegas nightclub mogul Cy Waits, was driving the Escalade and was also arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
