british open leaderboard 2009
Tiger Woods has to play a lot better in round 2 than he did on Thursday as he stands at +1, tied for 68th place and seven shots behind the leader. Tiger has to make sure he gets his swing back as he had a few shots go way right and land in the long grass in round 1. Another day of swings like that and he could find himself watching the third and fourth rounds instead of battling for the Open Championship trophy.
It was a beautiful day at the Ailsa Course at Turnberry and hopefully round 2 will have more of the same conditions so we get to watch some low golf scores.
Another day, another early morning of golf coverage as the British Open 2009 TV schedule on TNT starts at 7:00 a.m. EST. TNT will have 12 straight hours of the Open Championship as 59 year old Tom Watson tries to remain at the top of the leaderboard after his 5 under 65 on Thursday. He’ll start his round 2 just one stroke behind the leader Miguel Jimenez.
