Manchester homes to benefit from 40,000 new doors and windows
Thousands of Manchester residents will soon be able to enjoy safer and warmer homes after Eastlands Homes started work on a programme to fit more than 40,000 new doors and windows to their properties.The £15 million improvement programme will benefit more than 5,000 homes in Ardwick, Gorton North, Gorton South, Levenshulme, Longsight and Rusholme.
“These new doors and windows will make a huge difference to people’s lives,” said Sheila Doran, Chief Executive at Eastlands Homes. “They will help to reduce energy bills and improve home security, as well as enhance the appearance of each property.”
